The Creative Club is an initiative of Punpoets Media — a poetry community and mentorship platform that has been building writers, stages and audiences since 2020.
Our story so far
A community, then a programme, then a stage
[PLACEHOLDER — to be replaced with the real history.] Punpoets Media was founded in 2020 as a community for poets who wanted somewhere serious to bring their work. It became a mentorship programme, then an anthology, then a stage.
Along the way it turned into a place where a poet could be workshopped honestly and sent out better than they came in. Alumni of the programme are now performing, publishing and teaching.
The Creative Club is where that work goes next — taking the same mentorship into primary and secondary schools, so a child does not have to find poetry by accident.
