A weekly poetry club inside your school, led by a trained facilitator, at no cost to you. Registering takes five minutes and commits you to nothing.

What a term of poetry does to a classroom
Creative writing is one of the few things that improves literacy, confidence and behaviour at the same time. A club is the cheapest way to get all three.
Literacy that pupils opt into
Writing stops being a subject and becomes something they chose. Reluctant writers write most, because nobody is marking it.
Confidence and speaking skills
Every term ends with pupils performing their own work to an audience. For many it is the first time they have held a room.
No cost, no prep for staff
We bring the facilitator, the curriculum, the prompts and the materials. Your staff do not plan a single session.
Evidence you can show
You finish the term with an anthology of your pupils’ writing, photographs of the showcase and a short report for governors and parents.
You register your interest
Year groups, rough numbers and the slot you could give us. Five minutes, and it commits you to nothing.
We talk it through
A short call or visit to answer your questions, agree the year groups and check safeguarding requirements.
We match a facilitator
A trained facilitator near you is paired with your school and introduced to your staff contact.
The club runs weekly
Around two hours a week across the term. Session plans, prompts and materials all come from us.
The term ends on a stage
Your pupils perform what they wrote — to their school, their parents, and at our showcase.
What we ask of you
Less than most schools expect
We bring the facilitator, the curriculum, the prompts and the materials. From you we need three things:
- A room or hall for roughly two hours a week
- A staff contact who can let the facilitator in and keep the register
- Pupils who want to be there — the club works best when it is chosen, not assigned
There is no fee to register and no cost to run a club. Where a school cannot cover materials, our partners do.

Clubs begin after the launch on 3 September 2026. Places in the first cohort are limited by how many trained facilitators we can put in the field.
