Punpoets Media is a Nigerian poetry community, and much of what we run is online and open to poets anywhere.

No. Registering is free, and running a club costs the school nothing. Where a school cannot cover materials, our partners do.

Roughly two hours a week across a term, at a time that suits your timetable. Most schools run it after school or in a dedicated club slot.

A room or hall, a staff contact who can let the facilitator in and keep a register, and pupils who want to be there. We bring the facilitator, the curriculum, the prompts and the materials.

Both primary and secondary. Session plans are written for the age in the room, so tell us your year groups when you register.

No. You need enthusiasm for poetry and a willingness to be trained. Many of our facilitators are poets and mentorship alumni rather than teachers.

About two hours a week for the club itself, plus a short prep. Training happens in cohorts before you are matched with a school.

Facilitator roles are currently volunteer positions with expenses covered. As partnerships grow we intend to change that, and facilitators are first in line when we do.

Event support, photography, video, design, social media, logistics, admin and mentoring. Tell us your skills and availability and we will match you to something real.

No. Volunteers are on a roster and we reach out when something matching your skills comes up. Say yes when you can.

Facilitator training, session materials, anthology production and showcase costs — venue, sound and photography. We report back on exactly where it went.

Yes. Sponsoring one club covers a facilitator, materials and a full term of weekly sessions for a whole cohort, and you can be named in that school.

Yes, but seats are limited, so please register. We will email you the venue and timings before the day.

A multi-week programme pairing emerging poets with mentors for sustained workshopping, ending in recorded spoken word and a place in the anthology. It is now in its fifth edition.
